Stan Brunt is an award-winning Guitarist, Arranger, and Composer who is currently an active professional working in and around Greater London. Having started playing in Leeds in community bands including Chapel FM Jazz Collective, he developed his skills over the next few years and recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music. Stan Brunt is the most recent winner of the Richard Turner Award, a prestigious prize offered to those from the northern area of England. He has, in his time at RAM, worked with many world-renowned composers and musicians, including Will Vinson, Orlando LeFleming, Ingrid Jensen, Gwilym Simcock, and more. Now he is leading a new project which explores the space created by having just guitar as the chordal instrument, focusing heaving on improvisation and textural changes. This new band have played together around London and are creating a very individual group sound that is not to be missed.
